Studio timelines is a self initiated investigation into how renowned design studios grow. 

Presented as a series of maps, which reveal the career paths of every individual designer, past and present, that has worked at one given design studio.

A year by year timeline is featured at the top with the names of all the designers listed downwards. The gradients of coloured lines represent the position the designer was at that particular time from intern to founder.

Designers are separated into six segments, founders, creative directors, senior, mid weight, junior and interns.
A distinct pattern is revealed as the map illustrates all the individual journeys of each designer set side by side as they climb the design ladder.
